Use the the FOIL method on
(7x-4y)(5y-2z)
F. Multiply the First terms.(7x)(5y)= 35xy
O. Find the outer product. (7x)(-2z)=-14xz
I. Find the Inner product. (-4y)(5y)=-20y^
L. Multiply the Last terms. (-4y)(-2z)= 8yz
=35xy-14xz-20y^+8yz
check:
Factor by grouping (35xy-14xz)+(-20y^+8yz)
7x(5y-2z)+ -4y(5y-2z)= (7x-4y)(5y-2z)
