Question 25654: 2x+y=-6
3x+y=-10

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You nedd to get the Y by its self.
I'll start with 2x+y=-6
First you need to remember to use Y=MX+B
Now subtract 2x from both sides like this: 2x+y-2x=-6-2x
You should get: y=-6-2x
Then put it into slope intercept form: y=-2x-6
That's all you have to do.
Now just do the same thing to 3x+y=-10
First subtract the 3x from both sides: 3x+y-3x=-10-3x
You should get: y=-10-3x
Now put it into slope intercept form. Rememeber Slope Intercept form is Y=MX+B
Your answer should be: y=-3x-10
Hope this helps
=)
