Question 254999: 3(X+2)=2X-7
Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Get all x's on one side and all numbers on the other by adding and multiplying( subtracting and dividing too).
First get rid of the parentheses
3x+6=2x-7
Now subtract 2x from both sides
then subtract 6 from both sides.
That was almost painless.
