-2x-3y=-28
There are different ways to solve this, we will solve it by substitution;
First we will take eq.2 andsolve that for x;
-2x-3y=-28
-2x=-28+3y
x=14-y
Now with x being solved we will substitute this in eq.1 for x;
-6(14-y)+8y=-16
-84+Y+8Y=-16
9Y+8Y=-16+84
17Y=68
Y=4
Now that we have y=4, lets plug that into the equation and solve for x;
-6x+8(4)=-16
-6x+32=-16
-6x=-16-32
-6x=-48
x=8
So we have;
(8,4)
