Step 1. Subtract 5w to both sides of the inequality

5w%2B2-5w%3C8w%2B23-5w

2%3C3w%2B23

Step 2. Subtract 23 from both sides of the inequality

2-23%3C3w%2B23-23

-21%3C3w

Step 3. Divide 3 to both sides of the inequality.

-21%2F3%3C3w%2F3

-7%3Cw

Step 4. The answer is -7%3Cw or w%3E-7
