or dividing by 3 to both sides of the equation, we have
Step 2. Now compare the following equivalent system of equations
The above equations are in slope intercept form where m=6 for both equations.
Step 3. ANSWER: When the equations of lines have the same slope there is NO SOLUTION since they cannot intersect at a point.
