Question 210301: Use the quadratic formula to determine the x-intercepts (if any) of the following function. Then evaluate the function for several values of x, and use the resulting points to graph the function.
f(x) = 2x^2 + 2
Do I need to rearrange the problem putting x to zero? 2x^2 + 2= 0

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
No you need to use the rule y = 2x^2+2
---
Find the y value that goes with x = -2, x=-1,x=0,x=1,x=2
That will give you 5 points.
----
Plot the points and draw a smooth curve thru them to get:
