my answer came out to negative one but my teacher marked that problem as wrong too!i solved the top part which is everything before /x in my TI calculator and then divided it by x which equals -4
and still got the answer wrong can you help me???

If that's not what you meant, you need to add parentheses to make it clear.
= -4xz%2Fy+%2B+12z%5E2%2Fx
= (-4*-4*(1/2)/(-2) + 12*(1/4)/(-4)
= 8/(-2) + 3/(-4)
= 16/(-4) + 3/(-4)
= 19/(-4)
= -19/4

Question: It is hard to tell what the "x" is the denominator of.
So I'm just going to leave it there. Hopefully you know what it
is deviding.
