Question 202745: Solve
9/10 (7+2x)+2 ≥ 14
--------------------
63/10 +9/5 x+2 ≥ 14
9/5x+83/10 ≥ 14
subtract 83/10
9/5x + 83/10-83/10 ≥ 14-83/10
9/5x ≥ ?/10 ( I'm a little confuse and could you help me out here please?)
Then multiply 5/9
9/5x * 5/9 ≥ ?/10*5/9 (And here?)
x ≥ ?
Thank you!
You can put this solution on YOUR website! I like to use decimals when ever I can because it is easier.
9/10(7+2x)+2equal to or greater than 14
I will use = sign for ease of operation
9/10*7/10+2x/10+20/10=140/10
63/10+18x/10+20/10=140/10
18x/10=140/10-83/10
18/10(x)=57/10 remember, to divide, invert and multiply
x is equal to or greater than(57/10)(10/18)= 570/180=19/6=3.16
-----------------------------------------------
.9(7+2x)+2=14
6.3+1.8x+2=14
1.8x=14-8.3
1.8x=5.7
x= is equal to or greater than 3.16
