Distribute.
Multiply EVERY term by the LCD to clear any fractions.
Note: clearing out the fractions is not necessary, but it helps simplify things.
Multiply and simplify.
Combine like terms on the left side.
Subtract from both sides.
Combine like terms on the right side.
Divide both sides by to isolate .

I like to use decimals when ever I can because it is easier.
9/10(7+2x)+2equal to or greater than 14
I will use = sign for ease of operation
9/10*7/10+2x/10+20/10=140/10
63/10+18x/10+20/10=140/10
18x/10=140/10-83/10
18/10(x)=57/10 remember, to divide, invert and multiply
x is equal to or greater than(57/10)(10/18)= 570/180=19/6=3.16

6.3+1.8x+2=14
1.8x=14-8.3
1.8x=5.7
