Answer by jojo14344(1513)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Top: ; Bottom:
Multiply "Bottom" by 3, and subtract from "Top":
(x-5y=2)(3)=
3x-11y=2
-(3x-15y=6) * remember to change signs
-----------
------>
, subst to "Bottom"

It shows, "top" and "Bottom" will meet at point (-3,-1):
------>RED>>>"Top"; GREEN>>>>>"Bottom"
Thank you,
Jojo
