: I always get stuck on the word problems. Can you help me?
*A grocer made a barrel of mixed nuts consisting of cashews and almonds. The barrel contained 62 pounds of nuts. There are twice as many pounds of cashews as almonds. Find the number of pounds of cashews and of almonds in the barrel.

I tried this:
let c= cashews
let a= almonds
c+a= 62 lbs
c= 2a
Then i tried:
2a+a=62
3a=62 , but that is incorrect. Please help me!?
