Answer by nerdybill(7384)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6y+2/3 = c
Start by getting rid of all denominators.
Do this by multiplying both sides by 3.
.
18y+2 = 3c
Now, subtract both sides by 2:
18y = 3c - 2
Divide both sides by 18:
y = (3c)/18 - 2/18
reducing:
y = c/6 - 1/9
