Question 153426This question is from textbook

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x-10/4 + 2/5 = - x/3
Re-writing:
x-(10/4)+(2/5)=(-x/3)
Arranging similar terms:
x+(x/3)=(10/4)-(2/5)
(3x+x)/3=(50-8)/20
4x/3=42/20, cross multiply
4x=126/20 ---> cross(4)*x/cross(4)=126/(4*20)
x=(126/80) divide both numerator & denominator by 2:
x=63/40
Thank you,
