Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simplify
8(a+3b)+4(5a-5b)
=8a+24b+20a-20b
=28a+4b
__________________________________________________________________
Solve
(x+6)^2=0
x+6 =0 or x+6=0
x = -6 or x=-6
x = -6 with multiplicity two
__________________________________________________________________
Classify 8y^3 - 5y^2 + 3y - 1 by degree AND by number of terms
degree: cubic
# of terms: polynomial
__________________________________________________________________
Solve
6(12y - 3) + 6y = 9
72y-18+6y-9 = 0
78y = 27
y = 27/78

Find the product of (x + 2)^2, explain how you arrived at your answer in constructed response format.
(x+2)(x+2)
=(x+2)x + (x+2)2
= x^2+2x + 2x+4
=x^2+4x+4
