Question 143050: I need the formula to express how much money I would have after 20 years if I start with one dollar and the money doubles every year. My assignment is to put the formula on a spread sheet and generate a graph. I can do that, I just don't know how to come up with the formula.(I've been out of high school for 38 years)
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the original dollar doubles (multiplied by 2) every year
2^1 __ 2^2 __ 2^3 ... 2^20
amount=2^(years)
