On Tuesday the weather in Winston, ND, was �2 degrees F. That night the temperature dropped another 17 degrees F. During the day on Wednesday the temperature rose 11 degrees F to reach that day�s high. What was the high temperature on Wednesday?

this is simple
you have tues : -2 degrees farenheight right.
so if it drops 17 degrees, that means the temp is going negative.
so -2-17 is -19. that was that night
now wednesday the temp rose 11
so you add 11 to -17
so you have -6
as the day's high on Wednesday
