Question 115311: Two angles are complimentary to each other. Twice one angle is equal to the other angle plus the product of three and five.
Set up a system of linear equations to represent the two angles. (you will need two equations and two unknowns)
Graph each of the equations on one rectangular coordinate system.
What do you notice about the intersection of the two lines?

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Two angles are complimentary to each other.
x + y = 90
-------
Twice one angle is equal to the other angle plus the product of three and five.
2x = y+15
------------
Set up a system of linear equations to represent the two angles. (you will need two equations and two unknowns)
Graph each of the equations on one rectangular coordinate system.
Rearrange:
y = -x+90
y = 2x-15
--------------

--------------
What do you notice about the intersection of the two lines?
I'll leave that to you.
