Question 1126330: Hi,
I had a quick question about this linear equation. I must solve for x but I don't know how. I keep trying and I eliminate x when I try to make the denominators the same. Here is the problem:
(x/ac)-(x/cb)=(1/ab)
Thank you,

You can put this solution on YOUR website! You do not want to eliminate x if you want to solve for x. The other variables are treated like constants.
What are the denominators?
ac, cb, ab.
What is lowest common denominator, or simplest common denominator?
abc.
