You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
Adult + Children = 360

A     + C        = 360

A     + (A-100)  = 360

2A - 100 = 360  ====>  2A = 360+100 = 460  ====>  A = 460%2F2 = 230 is the number of adults.

Then the number of children  was  230 - 100 = 130.

Check.  130 + 230 = 360.

Solved.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a=adults
c=children
system%28a%2Bc=360%2Cc%2B100=a%29 Substitute c+100 for a,
c%2B%28c%2B100%29=360 2c%2B100=360 2c=260 highlight%28c=130%29
a%2B130=360 highlight%28a=230%29 Check: 130%2B230=360 and 230-130=100
