WHEN YOU SWAP SIDES FOR TERMS OR NUMBERS YOU MUST CHANGE THE SIGN.
WHAT YOU ARE DOING BASICLY IS ADDING OR SUBTRACTING THE SAME VALUE FROM BOTH SIDES.
12-4H=-18+11H NOW SUBTRACT 12 & SUBTRACT 11H FROM BOTH SIDES.
12+(-12)-4H+(-11H)=11H+(-11H)-18+(-12)
-15H=-30
H=-30/-15
H=2 ANSWER.
