I tried L=2L+2w plugged in L=6+2 and got 48. Am I doing this right?

2. Since the problem says "the width is 6 meter longer than the length", it is clear that the problem is ABSURD
      and does not deserve further consideration.

The width can not be longer than the length, according to the meaning of these terms.
