When are the two costs equal? Let n be the number of t-shirts sold. Then:
22.5+7.5n=8.25n
.75n=22.5
n=30
After 30 shirts are sold, it is cheaper to go with Company A.B, as their total costs will be lower. ☺☺☺☺

Purchasing 30 Ts would cost the same: $247.50
If purchasing 1 to 29 Ts, inclusive, C.D. would be cheaper than A.B.
If purchasing more than 30 Ts, A.B. would be cheaper than C.D.
