Question 10556: wat is the solving equation for 104=1/2[(360-x)-x] and thanks cause me and my dad cant figuere it out
Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
104=1/2[(360-x)-x]
You might want to get rid of the fraction by multiplying both sides by the LCD which is obviously 2:
2*104 = 2*(1/2)[(360-x)-x]
208 = [360 - x - x]
208 = 360 - 2x
Subtract 360 from each side:
208 - 360 = -2x
-152 = -2x
Divide both sides by -2
