How do i answer 4x + 3y=13
2x - 7y= 15
4x + 3y = 13 ------- eq (i)
2x - 7y = 15 ------- eq (ii)
- 4x + 14y = - 30 ------- Multiplying eq (ii) by - 2 ------- eq (iii)
17y = - 17 ------- Adding eqs (iii) and (i)

4x + 3(- 1) = 13 ----- Substituting - 1 for y in eq (i)
4x - 3 = 13
4x = 13 + 3
4x = 16
