I need help on linear equations with fractions, especially this question: -5+x/22=1. Please help!

-5 + = 1.

Add 5 to both sides. You will get

= 1 + 5,

= 6.

Multiply both sides by 22. You will get

x = 6*22 = 132.

Answer. x = 132.
