You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The cost C of producing x units of a product is C = 15 + 26x. The revenue R for selling x units is . The profit P is the difference between revenue and cost.
(a) Perform the subtraction required to find the polynomial representing profit P.
(b) Determine the profit when 14 units are produced and sold.
--------
Revenue = x(Cost)
= 15x+26x^2
Profit = Revenue - Cost
= 26x^2+15x - (26x+15)
= 26x^2-10x-15
Profit(14)= 26(14)^2-10(14)-15
=$4941.00
