when a problem asks for a "percent of" it means multiply.

Well if you think about it a day is larger than an hour. A day contains 24 hours.
So if you had 1 day and wanted to know how many hours you would multiply 1 day by 24 to give the number of hours.
The same applies to 0.79. Well done! :-)
