Question 15163: the speed of a trian is 24 km per hour. What is it approximate speed in cm per second?

and i need the work

Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First to change km to m, multiply by 1000, and to change from m to cm, you must multiply by 100. In other words multiply by 100,000. To change from a time per hour to a time per second, you must divide by 3600 (that is, 60 minutes in an hour and 60 seconds in a minute).

Final answer then is to do take = 666.67 cm/sec.
