Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
25cg = mg

You are oonverting from centi to milli, which is converting from larger to smaller units. You must move the decimal 1 place to the RIGHT. This is
25cg = 250 mg. Do you know the units of the metric system? In particular, on my website I gave a detailed explanation of what I call the "Metric Line." This makes metric system really easy to work with, since all you ever have to do is move the decimal a certain number of places (really, really easy to figure!) to the right or left (also really easy to figure!) You really need to see my webpage for this one!!

For additional explanation, please see my website. Click on my tutor name "rapaljer" anywhere in algebra.com. Look for Geometric Topics, and then the first item on this page is called Metric System.
