If 5 ounces is equal to 140 grams, then 2 pounds of ground meat is equal to how many ounces?
2 lbs = 2*16 = 32 oz
------------------------
EQUATION:
x grams/ 32 oz = 140 gr/5 oz
x = 32[140/5]
x = 896 grams

If 5 ounces is equal to 140 grams, then 2 pounds of ground meat is equal to how many ounces?
I know that 2 pounds = 907.184 grams.
I also know that there are 16 ounces in 1 pound and thus, 32 ounces in 2 pounds.
Is there a typo here?
Are you sure the question is asking for ounces and not grams?
