You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a.) C(x)=1.5x/(100-x)
C(60)=1.5(60)/(100-60)
C(60)=1.5(60)/(40)
C(60)=2.25
The cost would be $2.25 million.
b.) C(x)=1.5x/(100-x)=5
1.5x/(100-x)=5
1.5x=5(100-x)
1.5x=500-5x)
6.5x=500)
x=500/6.5)
x=76.9)
Rounding to the nearest whole percent, 77% participation would cost $5 million.
