Question 117472: if someone can throw a ball 40 feet in 32/100 of a second, how many miles per hour does this convert to?
Answer by Fombitz(32388) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
40 ft x 1 mile/5280 ft = 7.58E-3 miles
32/100 second x 1 hr/3600 seconds = 8.89E-5 hours
40 ft/(.32 sec) = 7.58E-3/8.88E-5 mph = 85.3 mph.
