Question 1066278: Use unit multipliers to convert 200 inches per minute to feet per second. Please help!!
Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
200 inches/minute *1 minute/60 seconds*1 foot/12 inches= units are ft/sec. and the number is 200/(60*12)=0.278 feet/second.
Start with inches/minute and end with feet/second.
Everything in the numerator has to end up on the denominator with feet left.
Everything in the denominator has to end up in the numerator with sec left. Everything else has to cancel.
