Question 72710: need help in finding out g(-2) when g(x)= sqrt 5-x + 2.
Another question is sqrt -36 the same as -sqrt 36. would answer still be 6i?
One last question: sqrt -36 divided by sqrt -9. Is answer -2?

12x + 16 + 5/x
over
18x - 27 - 35/x
Do I use x as a LCD, ?? 12x^2 + 16x + 5 over 18x^2 -27x -35 or would the x's cancel on the 12 and 18???????????? Please walk me through.

Question 78944: I need to find the quotient for 2+i over 1+3i. I know about multiplying by the conjugate, and I get 5-5i over 10, which simplifies to 1-i over 2. Is this the same as 1/2-1/2 i? (This is not a textbook problem, rather it is a take-home test. My teacher said we could use the internet.)

hi i would like to find out how to solve this problem. i would like to find the derivative of the function using the definition of the derivative and state the domain of the function and the domain of its derivative
