Julius wieghs twice as much as each of his twin brothers. If each of the twins gain 5lb and Julius gains twice that amount, the sum of the three brother's wieght will be 240lb. How much does each wiegh right now?
--------------
Let one of the twins weight "x" lbs.
Then Julius weights "2x" lbs.
------------
After the gaining:
Each twin weighs "x+51" lbs
Julius weights "2x+102" lbs
-----------
EQUATION:
2(x+51)+2x+102=240 lbs
4x+204=240
4x=36
x=9 (weight of one twin now)
2x=18 (Julius' weight now)

Since Julius weightes twice as much as each brother, then the twin brothers have the same weight.
Weight of each twin = X, weight of the other twin=X, Julius weight=2x
equation= 2x + x + x = 240
4x=240
x=60
twin brothers weight 60 pounds each and Julies (2x)= 2(60)=120
60 + 60 + 120 = 240
