 Question 70901: Ok so I have a problem. The question is: Find the values of x and y for which each equation is true. 3x-5yi = 15-20i In this situation i= the imaginary number. A friend of mine suggested that I square both sides and try to solve for x. I did this but the answer I came up with was x = (5(i[square root]7 + y))/3. When I attempted to put this into the problem the answer for y was an equally huge answer that did not make any sense. If you could please help me promptly this would be sooo much help!!!
