Question 972687: Find the quotient of 2i(4+5i)(4−5i)4+i, and express it in the simplest form
Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2i(4+5i)(4−5i)/4+i
2i(16-25i^2)/(4+i)
2i(41)/4+i
82i/(4+i)
Note, there was no divisor placed.
2i (4+5i)/(4-5i)(4+i)
8i-10/16+4i-20i+5
8i-10/21-16i
this puts the divisor in the middle

2i/(4+5i)(4-5i)(4+i)
=2i/41(4+i)
=2i/164+41i
Probably the first one is what was asked for.
