Question 857443: please help me simplify the expression: cube root(2)+1/cube root(4)
Answer by rothauserc(4718)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
cube root(2)+1/cube root(4)
first multiply the numerator and denominator of the second term by cube root of 4, also note that the cube root of 4 = 4^(1/3)
2^(1/3) + (4^(1/3) / 4)
multiply both terms by 4 which will be the new denominator
(4*2(^1/3) + 4^(1/3)) / 4
