Question 829630: 7 / 3+5i
Answer by LinnW(1048) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
7 / 3+5i
multiply by complement
Notice that (3+5i)(3-5i) follows the rule (a+bi)(a-bi)=a^2+b^2
If we foil (3+5i)(3-5i) we get
3^2 +3(5i) + 3(-5i) - 25i^2
3^2 - 25i^2
3^2 -25(-1) since i^2 = -1
3^2 + 25
