Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
i equals the square root of negative 1, what would be the location of 5-2i on a plane?
---------------
When you plot complex numbers on a plane the x-axis becomes the Real
Number axis and the y-axis becomes the Imaginary Number axis.
---------------
Your problem has as its Real part the number 5
It has as it Imaginary part the number -2
----------
So you plot it as the point (5,-2)
