Identify the excluded values for:
The excluded values for a and b are those values which would make the denominator = 0
It sometimes helps to simplify the expression first:
Now you can see that if a or b = 0, then the denominator would be = 0, so a = 0 and b = 0 are excluded values...but wait...there may be more.
Looking at the factor in the denominator (3a-7) you can see that if a were = 7/3, then (3(7/3) - 7) = 0, so a = 7/3 is an excluded value.
So you have the excluded values:
a = 0 or 7/3 and
b = 0
