Question 704429: Hi there! I need help with cubed roots. Here is my problem. I need to simplify it
^3sqrt(54y^21)
Thank you for your help!

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20056)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
54y2127·2y2133·2y21

Since both exponents 3 and 21 are divisible
by the index of cube roots, which is 3, we
divide the two exponents by 3 and take them
out in front of the radical, and leave just
the 2 under the radical:

3y72
