3. A = B/3

Substitute equation 2 into equation 1
4. B = (A + 2) + A

Plug equation 3 into equation 4
5. B = (B/3 +2) + B/3

Solve equation 5 for B

Subtract 2B/3 from both sides

Multiply both sides by 3

Plug this into equation 3

Plug A and B into equation 1

Becy = 6
Ryan = 4
Amy = 2
Total = 12
