If you look at the first equation and compare it to the second to see what the difference is, you'll see that the number 3 was appended to the '2' in '8(2)', and '+3' replaced the '+2' (first eqn.: 8(2)+2). Similarly, from equation 2 to equation 3, the next number in the sequence after 2,3 would be 4. So, 4 gets appended to '23' in '8(23)' and 4 replaces the '+3', becoming 8(234)+4. Exactly the same process happens in the fourth equation. Therefore, following the same process yields 8(23456)+6 for the next equation, followed by 8(234567)+7 and 8(2345678)+8.
