since 3 * 3 = 9 and 3 + 3 = 6, then your factors probably be:
(x + 3) and (x + 3)
your equation is:
x^2 + 6x + 9
set it equal to 0 to get:
x^2 + 6x + 9 = 0
now factor it to get:
(x + 3) * (x + 3) = 0
this equation will be equal to 0 if:
(x + 3) = 0.
