Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a*b = b^2-2a

3*4 = 4^2-2(3)

3*4 = 10
------------------------

(3*4)*5 = 10*5

a*b = b^2-2a

10*5 = 5^2-2(10)

10*5 = 5

So (3*4)*5 = 5
