Express in terms of i sqrt-48
-------------------
sqrt(-48) = sqrt[(-16)*(3)] = (4i)sqrt(3) = 4sqrt(3)i
=========================================================
With your scientific calculator:
Put your calculator in "a+bi" mode
Enter sqrt(-48)
Hit ENTER and get 6.92820i
===
The 6.92820 is an approximation for 4sqrt(3)
