You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The easiest way is to multiply numerator and denominator by the Common Denominator which this "a".
%28a%2F1%29%2F%28a%2F1%29 +%28+%281%2Fa%29%2B1%29%2F%28+%281%2Fa%29-1%29

By distributive property:
+%281+%2B+a%29%2F%281-a%29

If you need more help with this, I have about 25 or 30 examples worked out completely in Living Color with full explanations on my website. Click on my tutor name anywhere in algebra.com at "rapaljer", look for "Math in Living Color", then look for College Algebra, Section 1.05, Complex Fractions.
