Hi
how do I find the vertex for X^2-3x-4=0?
by completing the Square and putting into the vertex form
Note: the vertex form of a parabola, where(h,k) is the vertex
x^2 - 3x - 4 = 0
(x-3/2)^2 - 9/4 - 4 = 0
(x-3/2)^2 - 25/4 = 0 vertex is Pt(3/2,-25/4)
